Understanding Cost and Value

Choosing an independent technical assessor is an important decision.

Every matter is different, which is why I don't offer a one-size-fits-all service. Instead, I recommend work that reflects your individual situation, explain what it is intended to achieve and provide a clear scope before any work begins.

The aim is simple—to provide the right level of assistance without asking you to pay for work you don't need.

How Your Fees Are Determined

Every matter is different.

Rather than offering fixed packages, each engagement is individually scoped to reflect the work required, the complexity of the matter and the agreed outcome.

Before any work begins, I'll explain the recommended scope of work, what it is intended to achieve and provide a clear quotation.

Scope of Review

The nature of the technical issue, the number of matters requiring analysis and the amount and quality of the available evidence.

Assessment Method

Whether the matter can be completed by desktop review or requires physical inspection, specialist access, measurement, travel or additional investigation.

Every engagement begins with a clear discussion about the work to be undertaken.

You'll understand:

  • what work I recommend,

  • why I believe it is appropriate,

  • what it is intended to achieve,

  • the agreed fee,

  • and any known limitations,

before deciding whether to proceed.

My aim is to provide the right level of assistance without asking you to pay for work you don't need.

Agreed Outcome

Whether the agreed outcome is verbal technical advice, a concise assessment, a detailed written report or an expert report suitable for professional use.

Transparent from the beginning

Ready to discuss your situation?

If, after reading about the process, you believe I may be able to help, the next step is simply to tell me what's happened.

I'll review your situation, explain whether I believe I can genuinely add value and, if appropriate, recommend a scope of work before any work begins.

The Value of Independent Review

Clear Technical Evidence

An independent review can identify the material technical issues, distinguish assumptions from supported findings and clarify what further evidence may be required. This can help a client, business or professional make better-informed decisions about the matter.

Proportionate Scope

Not every matter requires an inspection or comprehensive written report. The service is scoped to the question requiring resolution so that the work and cost remain commercially proportionate wherever possible.

Corsa Dynamics provides an independent technical opinion based on the available evidence and professional judgment. It does not provide legal advice, policy-coverage advice or guarantee a particular claim outcome.

Fee Confirmation Before Work Begins

After reviewing the initial information, Corsa Dynamics will confirm:

  • The proposed assessment scope

  • Whether an inspection or desktop review is appropriate

  • The agreed deliverable

  • The applicable professional fee

  • Any travel, specialist access or additional evidence requirements

No assessment work commences until the proposed scope and fee have been accepted.
