The process

1. Tell me what’s happened

Every matter starts with a conversation.

Tell me what's happened, what concerns you have and what outcome you're hoping to achieve.

If I need more information, I'll ask.

‍ ‍

2. Initial Review

‍ I'll review the information you've provided and consider whether I believe I can genuinely add value.

If I don't think I'm the right person to assist, I'll tell you honestly and explain why.

‍ ‍

4. Independent assessment

‍ Once engaged, I carry out the agreed work.

This may include:

technical inspection,

desktop review,

evidence analysis,

report preparation,

specialist consultation.

The scope depends entirely on your situation.

‍ ‍

3. Scope and Fee Confirmed

f we decide to proceed, I'll explain:

  • what work I recommend,

  • what it is intended to achieve,

  • the expected cost,

  • and any limitations.

You'll know exactly what you're engaging me to do before any work begins.

‍ ‍

5. Findings and recommendations

‍I'll explain my findings in plain English.

Where appropriate, I'll prepare formal technical reports supported by evidence and professional reasoning.

‍ ‍

6. Ongoing assistance

‍ Some matters conclude after the initial report.

Others require addiional technical assistance. If Further work is requested, I,ll explain the next stage , provide a

revised scope of work and additional fees before proceeding.

‍ ‍

Ready to discuss your situation?

If, after reading about the process, you believe I may be able to help, the next step is simply to tell me what's happened.

I'll review your situation, explain whether I believe I can genuinely add value and, if a appropriate, outline the recommended scope of work before any work begins.

Claim Understanding

Helping people better understand vehicle insurance claims through independent, evidence-based information.

Why Claim Understanding Matters

For many people, making an insurance claim is an unfamiliar experience. Decisions may involve technical reports, repair quotations, policy wording and industry terminology that can be difficult to interpret without prior experience.

Understanding the claims process can help people participate more confidently in discussions with insurers, repairers and other professionals, while also providing a clearer understanding of the decisions being made throughout a claim.

Our Claim Understanding publications have been developed to explain these processes in plain English, helping readers better understand the technical, practical and procedural aspects of vehicle insurance claims.

Our Approach

At Corsa Dynamics, we believe informed people make better decisions.

Our Claim Understanding publications are written to explain technical concepts, assessment processes and insurance terminology in clear, practical language. Rather than providing opinions or advocacy, we focus on improving understanding through independent, evidence-based information drawn from professional experience.

Our objective is to help readers better understand the claims process, ask informed questions and make decisions with greater confidence.
